Pre-Departure Programme

The pre-departure program will provide participants with a strong foundation in climate change science, policy, and the SDGs. It will largely be virtual with just one physical meeting. Key activities will include:

• In-depth workshops on climate change science, impacts, and mitigation/adaptation strategies.
• Seminars on the SDGs, with a focus on Climate Action (SDG 13).
• Discussions on the role of technology, including machine learning, in addressing climate challenges.
• Team-building activities and networking opportunities to foster collaboration among participants.
