Program Structure
The Study Tour will be conducted in cohorts, with specific dates determined based on the academic calendars of the Institutions of participants. The first cohort will commence on 7th May 2025 and conclude on 13th May 2025 (study tour only). Subsequent cohorts will be scheduled accordingly.

Pre-Departure Activities (Ghana)

1. Pre-departure briefing session to discuss travel arrangements, itinerary, and expectations
2. SDG awareness workshop to educate participants about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on climate action and its relevance to West Africa.
3. Climate Action Forum

Study Tour Experience

1. Arrival in Dubai; Check-in at the Radisson Blu Dubai Waterfront Hotel, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE. Opening Conference and Dinner with the Ghanaian Diplomatic Community in the UAE
2. Dubai Sustainable City Tour/ Workshop
3. Workshop, Field Trip, 1st Group Projects Meeting & Case Studies
4. Free Time for exploration or optional activities/ Group Project Meeting
5. Group Presentation/ Seminars
6. Closing Conference
7. Arrival in Ghana

Post-Tour Activities (Hybrid – Largely Online/ 2 Face-to-face meetings)

1. Debriefing and evaluation session
2. Community engagement and knowledge sharing
3. Follow-up activities to sustain momentum and promote climate action and sustainable development in Ghana and West Africa.
4. Climate Finance/ Funding Workshop
5. Special trip to a ‘climate action center’ in Ghana (optional)

UPCOMING WORKSHOP FOR COHORT 1 CAM-SGDS 25 PROJECT

The Workshop for Cohort 1 will take place at the University of Ghana (Yiri Lodge Conference Room) on the following dates:
